1. Casting was bad. There were some very interesting designers, and some very uninteresting designers. Likewise, there were some very talented designers, and then there were some so-so designers. But, as far as talent goes, I'd have to say compared to previous seasons, these designers were much less talented. There were some nice shapes and prints used, but I felt like complexity of construction was really lacking. Simple designs are nice, but if that's all I see over and over again, it just gets boring. I would have liked to have seen a designer with the construction skills of Rami, Jillian or Christian just to add something interesting to the designs.
2. Gretchen shouldn't have one. Completely disregarding her repugnant personality, her designs are just not good. They're very unflattering, and despite what Nina Garcia and Michael Kors say, I really don't think her aesthetic is where fashion is heading! I expect to see a lot more Mondo-inspired trends popping up soon, and not so many Gretchen trends.
3. Disregarding the fact that I really like Mondo so my opinion is biased, I really think he should have won. All of his designs were exciting, and you can tell when a garment has a Mondo-look. He really has a knack for prints and shapes that make for fun designs.
4. I was disappointed how Andy went with his collection. The one piece I liked was the top that had weaving at the bottom. Other than that he really dulled it down compared to some of the other things he made during the show.
5. I love Tim Gunn and that pastel striped tie he wore at some point on nearly every episode.
I hope the next season's designers are more talented, and that the show focuses less on the silly drama that goes on between the designers.

I think that Mondo should have won too. There were a couple of Gretchen's outfits that I liked earlier in the season, but her runway clothes were pretty ugly and looked like stuff only old ladies would wear (which is what Casanova got kicked off for...). And animal prints are never cool (but maybe that's just me). Of course, her narcissism might have biased my opinion a little... Mondo was just so likable! I also love Tim Gunn--he's the best part of Project Runway!
